We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to join the Survey team. In this role, you will support engineers by preparing accurate and high-quality survey drawings using field-collected data. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, a solid understanding of survey processes, and the ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of survey drawings using field data, including:

Topographic surveys
-
Boundary surveys
-
ALTA surveys
-
Subdivision plats
-
Construction staking surveys
-
Easements and right-of-way plans
-
As-built surveys
-
-
Interpret property legal descriptions and analyze related survey records
-
Collaborate with engineers and field teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings

Support survey projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, municipal, industrial, and oil & gas

Maintain accuracy, organization, and consistency in all drafting work
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a CAD Technician/Drafter in surveying or related field

Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D (experience with Carlson is a plus)

Technical degree or coursework in land surveying, civil engineering, or related drafting discipline preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines

Motivated, proactive, and eager to contribute to a growing team

Strong organizational and communication skills

Familiarity with survey data processing and field-to-finish workflows

Experience working on diverse project types (residential, commercial, infrastructure, etc.)
