Facility:

This 30-bed, Level IV Trauma Center serves as a regional hub for local surgery and exceptional patient care. The facility is currently undergoing a $13 million upgrade to its emergency department, demonstrating a commitment to advancing healthcare services in the region. The hospital is part of a larger integrated healthcare system with multiple locations throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Opportunity: Hospitalist - Hospitalist

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established hospitalist team spanning multiple facilities. You'll primarily be based in Duluth while also covering regional hospitals in Virginia and Superior, offering diverse clinical experiences and professional growth.

Job Details:

• Join a collaborative team of nearly 80 hospitalists, including physicians and NP/PAs
• Flexible scheduling with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts, typically following a 7/7 schedule for 24 weeks per year
• Mileage/rental car and lodging reimbursed for travel from Primary Location
• Procedures are not required
• Opportunities to participate in hospital-based research, quality, and clinical initiatives
• Engage with inpatient teaching service for Duluth Family Medicine residents
• Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire system
• Short-term vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia, with additional training supplied if necessary
• Dedicated nocturnist teams available
• Work across multiple locations including a 350-bed Level 1 Adult and Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, a 140-bed multi-specialty hospital, and smaller regional facilities

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Additional compensation may be available through bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
