An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care to deliver exceptional patient-focused treatment during night shifts. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Active New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS and PALS certifications from AHA preferred
- TNCC, ATCN, CPI, or equivalent certifications preferred
- Strong knowledge of age-appropriate patient care and patient rights
- Effective communication skills suitable to developmental patient needs
- Ability to operate confidently under supervision of Patient Care Director or Manager
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical nursing care specific to patient needs during night shifts (7 PM to 7 AM)
- Coordinate and deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe care consistent with unit standards
- Maintain professional and respectful interactions with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Comply with infection control guidelines and maintain a safe environment
- Manage physical demands of the role, including patient transfers and emergency responses
