This is a remote position.
We are recruiting experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a long-term engagement with a leading healthcare organization. This is a high-impact role ideal for coders who thrive in independent, performance-driven environments. Coders will be responsible for accurately coding inpatient and newborn encounters using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT coding systems, supported by advanced EHR platforms including EPIC and 3M 360.
Key Highlights:
- Per-Chart Pay Model: Earn $12.00 per chart, with an additional $12.00 for every extra 9 days of patient stay. High-performing coders average 3 charts per hour, with earnings directly tied to output.
- Transparent Productivity Metrics: Know exactly how much you’ll earn per chart—track your progress and income goals with clarity.
- Flexible Scheduling: Work hours available between 6 AM – 6 PM PST, including weekends. Full-time and part-time options available.

Requirements
- Certification: CCS, RHIT, or RHIA required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient coding experience, including CPT, ICD-10-CM, and ICD-10-PCS.
- Technology: Proficiency with EPIC and 3M 360 platforms.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of DRG assignment, coding compliance, and medical terminology.
- Skills: High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication.
- Work Environment: Remote work with flexible scheduling options.
