Sales-Focused Insurance Opportunity


Anne Boyd State Farm is seeking a full-time, in-office Account Representative to help drive agency growth through proactive insurance sales, customer outreach, policy reviews, and account development.

This role is designed for someone who is comfortable starting sales conversations, following up with cold and warm leads, identifying opportunities, and recommending coverage solutions across multiple lines of insurance. The ideal candidate enjoys building relationships, but is also motivated by production, activity, and measurable sales results.


What Makes This Role Different


This is not a passive service position. The primary focus is sales, growth, and new business development.

You will be expected to:

Contact prospective and existing customers to identify coverage opportunities
Quote, explain, and sell insurance products across multiple lines
Conduct policy reviews that lead to cross-selling and account growth
Follow up consistently with cold and warm leads
Turn customer needs into confident buying decisions
Contribute directly to agency production goals

Customer relationships matter, but the priority of this role is to grow the agency through consistent sales activity and strong follow-through.

Compensation

This role includes a guaranteed salary along with commission incentives, allowing motivated team members to increase their earnings through successful prospecting, policy growth, and new business development.

Licensing Requirement Job Contingent

This position is contingent upon obtaining required insurance licenses.

Property & Casualty license must be obtained prior to your Day 1 start date. Full licensing support is provided.

Life & Health license must be obtained within 90 days of your start date.

We provide licensing guidance, study resources, and onboarding support throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

Use knowledge of insurance products to recommend, explain, and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.

Develop and maintain customer relationships that support retention, referrals, and account growth.

Conduct policy reviews and provide coverage recommendations based on customer needs.

Proactively market relevant insurance products and services.

Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across multiple product lines.

Follow up with prospects and existing customers to move opportunities forward.

Support the resolution of customer concerns while keeping sales and retention goals in focus.

Track sales activity, manage follow-up tasks, and contribute to overall agency objectives.

Maintain compliance with office procedures and insurance industry guidelines.

What Were Looking For

Experience in insurance sales, account management, customer outreach, or a related sales role is preferred.

A goal-oriented approach to sales conversations and customer follow-up.

Comfort initiating contact with cold and warm leads.

Ability to recommend, explain, and sell insurance products with professionalism.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Willingness to engage in regular sales conversations.

Previous success meeting sales targets or production goals is preferred.

Availability to work full-time in office in Henderson, KY.
