We are seeking a highly experienced IT Business Systems Analyst with strong expertise in business analysis, technical documentation, and process improvement. This role will partner with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, gather and translate requirements, and develop clear, structured documentation including proposals, system specifications, and process workflows.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical thinking, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder interviews and JAD sessions
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear functional documentation (BRD, FRD, SOPs, workflows)
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, proposals, manuals, and training materials
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights
  • Create process maps, workflows, and work standards to improve efficiency and operations
  • Support process improvement initiatives and recommend optimized solutions
  • Collaborate with SMEs, developers, and business teams across the SDLC
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Assist in test documentation, training plans, and system implementation support
  • Ensure deliverables are completed within strict timelines and quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Technical Communication, or related field
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with cross-functional exposure
  • 3+ years of technical writing/documentation experience
  • Strong experience in:
    • Requirements gathering & stakeholder management
    • Process mapping and workflow documentation
    • Technical and business writing
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
  • Familiarity with SDLC, enterprise systems (ERP/CRM)
  • Experience in proposal/RFP writing and market research
