Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Hobbs, New Mexico. This contract position runs from July 22, 2025, through May 28, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. The role involves supporting students across one to two school buildings, providing essential speech and language therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students in compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with team members, including assistant SLPs, to manage caseloads that typically range between 65-70 students.
  • Utilize district-provided IEP systems, with training available, to document and track student progress.
  • Participate in paid team meetings and administrative time as scheduled.
  • Provide supervision if applicable, working closely within the districts framework.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP licensure and credentials required.
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a high caseload with support from assistant staff.
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and reporting standards typical to school districts.
  • Flexibility to work across multiple school sites as needed.
