High-End Marine Manufacturing Positions

Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Locate and retrieve materials to process operation.
• Organize part on pallet with proper stock number and count.
• Performs additional related duties as assigned and required.

Requirements & Skills:

• Accurately and efficiently comprehend paperwork
• Must work well with others in a team atmosphere.
• Must maintain attendance and dependability.
• Attention to detail.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One to three years assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment.

Work Environment:

• Personal Protective Equipment: May include safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes, ear plugs, etc.
• Physical: Lifting (10 – 50 lbs individually), frequent gripping, standing, bending, squatting, pulling, pushing, and reaching.
• Constant awareness of safety, keeping work area clean and organized; a safe environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday
• 10-hour shift
• Day shift
• Possible planned and unplanned overtime may be required
