Overhead Door Company of St. Louis™, a DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Sales Specialist in St. Louis, MO! This is a great opportunity for a detail oriented, organized individual to join a team of dedicated professionals. This role will serve as a key functional resource to the entire team, focusing on highly complex projects and tasks as well as other general administrative duties.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced administrative duties for sales and operations and support day-to-day requests of other team members.
- Primary point of contact for internal and external clients, managers, peers, and other administrative support staff.
- Completes project work as required including development of presentations and reports.
- Provide training and support to all new and existing employees.
- Possess excellent assessment and problem-solving skills relative to resolving customer related issues.
- Proficient in performing service billing.
- Advanced contract processing, including contract tracking, pay applications, sub-contractor process, lien waivers, and revenue recognition.
- Compile and prepare bid packages and proposals.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers before, during, and after the sale.
- Create, maintain, and monitor purchase orders and inventory transfers.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings including department, backlog, COD, and sales.
- Utilize knowledge and experience to identify and champion process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to work overtime may be required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Expert attention to detail and great customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently and with a team.
- Prioritize tasks and possess strong analytical skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Billing experience preferred.
- Previous work with contracts is preferred.
