Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available to provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support for an elementary school student. This contracted role is based in Brockton, MA, and involves hands-on care throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care, with a focus on diabetic management
- Review and implement individual student IEPs and Healthcare Plans to meet specific health needs
- Monitor student health status and respond promptly to medical requirements
- Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure a safe learning environment
Qualifications:
- Current Massachusetts LPN license required
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred
- petent in managing diabetic care within a school setting
- Strong munication skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel
