Under general guidance, this role actively embraces our commitment to “Person-Directed Care.” The position involves understanding the interests and needs of residents, aiding them in achieving their rehabilitation goals, independence, and active participation. Responsibilities include providing care and support to residents in a Skilled Nursing environment, and on occasion, overseeing caregivers who deliver resident services. The role requires effective planning and execution of nursing services to ensure high-quality care.
Shifts Available: Part-Time position from 6 PM to 6 AM on Saturdays
Compensation: Starting at $32 per hour, based on experience *Plus an additional $2-$3 shift differential*
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current LVN/LPN license in the relevant state.
Experience/Training:
- Experience in Senior Care, Skilled Nursing, Hospital, or Rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Strong computer skills are necessary for documentation, reviewing electronic health records, and team communication.
- A minimum of one year of professional nursing or caregiving experience is preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
- Valid LPN license in Oregon.
- Current CPR certification.
