We are seeking a NYS licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy multi-disciplinary wellness center. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.
*** Various shifts need, both AM and PM, Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of focused massage treatments, mostly just one or two areas, usually 30 min appointments
- Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
- Ensure a clean and safe facility
- Complying with all applicable NYS treatment standards, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Hold current NY state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- Ability to manage time and multitask
