Mechanical Engineer – Industrial Machinery / Components


Petersburg, Virginia (Commutable from: Richmond, Disputanta, Newville, Templeton, Chester, Waverly, Mechanicsville, Prince George)


$90,000 – $110,000 + Training + Progression + Site Based + Bonus Scheme + Relocation Assistance + Excellent Benefits Package

In this role you will split your time between design and hands-on engineering support. You will conduct cradle to grave design work using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, primarily focusing on designing expansions for existing industrial machinery. This is a fully site-based role with exposure to projects across multiple departments.


This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from an industrial machinery or component design background, looking to build a long-term career at a market-leading business.


The Role:


  • Cradle to grave design work using SolidWorks and Autodesk Inventor, primarily focusing on designing expansions for existing industrial machinery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and maintenance teams
  • Support continuous improvement by evaluating designs and recommending improvements


The Person:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Industrial machinery or component design experience
  • Experience working out on the shop floor
