About the Role:

Title: Brand Leader
Reports to: Marketing Director
Location: Kaukauna
Pay: $55,000 - $60,000

What You’ll Do

This role isn’t just about looking good on Instagram. It’s about building trust and reputation—both digitally and within the real communities we serve. You’ll lead a small but mighty brand team, drive visibility across multiple markets, and make sure every piece of content, signage, and story reflects who we are.

You’ll lead the team. Set the tone. Protect the standard. And build something unforgettable.

Core Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership & PR (Your Main Thing)

    • ​Own the entire brand identity: voice, tone, style, visuals, and values
    • Build a reputation so strong, top-tier talent wants in before you post the job
    • Elevate how residents and local leaders feel about Focus—build community trust, connection, and pride
    • Lead PR-style storytelling: team spotlights, resident features, community wins, local partnerships
    • Develop and lead hype-worthy campaigns that build momentum around move-ins, launches, and community events
    • Turn real resident and team experiences into moments that make people say, “I want that”
  • ​Creative Team Management
    • Manage the Brand Specialist, Content Creator, and Marketing Specialist
      • ​Brand Specialist → Owns copy, brand messaging, and tone across channels
      • Content Creator → Owns social media marketing and captures dynamic, real-time media that humanizes the brand
      • Marketing Specialist → Ensures units and properties are shown in their best light to support leasing
    • ​Guide team meetings, project flow, and deliverables to keep momentum high and execution tight
    • Audit creative output weekly to ensure everything reflects brand standards
  • Reputation Strategy & Execution
    • ​Drive local engagement and partnerships that expand brand recognition and deepen community trust across all markets
    • Proactively build the Focus employer brand—highlight culture, career paths, and what makes working here feel different
    • Launch branded storytelling series that build anticipation, showcase lifestyle, and drive waitlist-worthy buzz
    • Conduct bi-weekly listing audits to ensure photos, descriptions, and media drive conversion and credibility
