We are seeking a passionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our student services team for the 20252026 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position serving students across our district, located in the heart of Holt County.

Position Overview

The School Psychologist will support students' learning, behavior, and mental health needs through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, families, and munity resources. This professional will be instrumental in fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to guide instruction and intervention

  • Participate in special education eligibility decisions and develop IEPs

  • Provide counseling and support services for students with social, emotional, or behavioral needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support plans

  • Serve as a resource in the development and implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)

  • Support crisis response and prevention efforts within the district

  • Maintain all documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements

Qualifications

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

  • Nebraska Department of Education School Psychologist Endorsement (or eligibility for licensure)

  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and evidence-based intervention practices

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and munication skills
