An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in step-down care to provide high-quality patient management during night shifts. Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a step-down or progressive care unit
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Knowledge of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general wards
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about illness, treatment, and care plans
