Regular Schedule (Starting Week 2):

Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (one evening shift until 7:00 PM required on either Monday or Tuesday)

One Saturday shift (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) per month at Penn Care for Kids in Phoenixville

Candidates must be available for one evening shift per week and one Saturday per month.
Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports physicians and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care in a busy multi-specialty ambulatory clinic. This role includes both clinical and administrative duties, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient-centered service.
Key Responsibilities:

Room patients, record vitals, and prepare them for provider evaluations.

Document medical histories, allergies, and medications in EPIC EMR accurately and efficiently.
\t

Assist with clinical procedures, specimen collection, injections, and point-of-care testing as directed by the provider.

Answer patient calls, relay messages, and provide follow-up communication under clinical supervision.
\t

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinate referrals, and manage patient flow to ensure timely care.

Maintain exam room cleanliness, restock supplies, and adhere to infection control standards.
\t

Support physicians and nurses in daily operations and other responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting.

Technical Skills:

EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred.

Proficient in patient intake, scheduling, and basic clinical procedures.
