Your Role

In this full-time contract assignment, you'll provide essential occupational therapy services to students, helping them thrive academically and functionally. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • IEP Development & Implementation: Assess, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy goals and services as part of students' IEPs.

  • Direct Therapy: Provide direct services to students with physical, sensory, or cognitive challenges, focusing on improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

  • Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the need for OT services and provide ongoing progress reports.

  • Collaboration & Consultation: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to integrate therapeutic strategies within the school, ensuring students can effectively access the curriculum. You'll also provide consultation and training to staff, parents, and caregivers.

  • Documentation & pliance: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress reports, and evaluations, ensuring all services and records ply with district, state, and federal regulations, while strictly maintaining student confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • You must hold a current Colorado Occupational Therapist License and a current CDE license.

  • While previous school-based experience is preferred, it is not requiredwe encourage all qualified OTs to apply!
