This contract position offers a chance to provide critical care to postoperative patients on a 22-bed Post-Surgical Unit with an excellent patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 1:4-5, ensuring attentive and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid RN license.
• Experience in post-anesthesia or surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to support patients through the immediate postoperative recovery phase.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide detailed patient updates and care coordination.
• Manage pain effectively and recognize potential complications early.
• Maintain accurate patient records according to healthcare standards.
