Shipping and Receiving Clerk-- Great Opportunity to $60,000.00
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable **Shipping and Receiving Clerk** to join our warehouse team. This role is essential to ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
- Accurately log and label incoming inventory
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Maintain organized records of shipping and receiving documents
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
