Cherry Picker Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Savage, MD
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (Immediate Opening)
PrideStaff is seeking a reliable, experienced equipment operator for a leading supplies distributor in Savage, MD. We are looking for a teammate who values accuracy and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Core Responsibilities
As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will play a critical role in the distribution of essential paper and cleaning supplies. Your daily tasks include:
- Safely operating a cherry picker / order picker to pull full pallets.
- Selecting batches and fulfilling orders via labels and/or RF scanners.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy through precise picking and scanning.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties to support team efficiency and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Recent Experience: Candidates must have recent, verifiable experience operating a cherry picker / order picker.
- Technology: Proven experience using an RF scanner for inventory management.
- Equipment: Must have and wear steel-toe boots at all times.
- Compliance: Must be willing to submit to a client-mandated drug screening.
- Availability: Ability to work the consistent 2nd shift schedule (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
