RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• Weekend requirement may be every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
\n• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Patient ratios 1:4-5 (must be comfortable with 1:5 ratio)
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
\n• 48 hours of orientation provided
\n• Care for adult patients with neurological conditions including neurosurgical recovery, stroke management, and neuro-specific diagnoses
\n• Unit includes 5 dedicated beds for continuous 24-hour epilepsy monitoring
\n• Floating required to units within clinical skillset
\n• Clinical skills include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, central/peripheral line care
\n• Medication administration including cardiac drips (no titration)
\n• Respiratory support including nasal cannula, oxygen administration, and non-invasive airway management
\n• Rapid Response team participation and isolation precautions
\n• Minimum 1 year of experience required
\n• Previous charge experience preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted

The facility is Magnet-designated for nursing excellence and features advanced specialty care with a dedicated children's hospital. The hospital is certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center providing comprehensive stroke care, including 24/7 neurointerventional coverage and advanced endovascular procedures. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
