Broacher – Aerospace Machining
Location Live Anywhere, USA | Company Location: Connecticut (Onsite)
Compensation & Schedule
• $48/hour | Travel for onsite work with paid travel and accommodations
• Full-time; schedule set per assignment
• W2 Employment
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
Support aerospace manufacturing initiatives by applying your specialized broaching skills in a precision machining environment. This high-impact role involves both manual and CNC broaching processes to produce mission-ready parts with exacting tolerances. All travel expenses are fully covered, including airfare, lodging, and per diem.
KEY DUTIES
• Set up and operate legacy manual broaching machines (some over 50 years old)
• Operate CNC broaching machines for complex cuts: splines, keyways, circular/non-circular holes, and flat surfaces
• Ensure high-quality surface finishes and dimensional accuracy per aerospace specifications
• Follow detailed setup protocols and process documentation for repeatable accuracy
• Maintain machine functionality and perform minor adjustments as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of direct broaching experience in aerospace or high-precision machining
• Proven ability to work with both antiquated and CNC broaching systems
• Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and surface finish requirements
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Machinery: Manual broaching systems (legacy), CNC broaching machines
• Materials: Aerospace-grade alloys
• Tools: Measurement gauges, alignment tools, setup fixtures
PREFERRED SKILLS
• CNC broaching experience on complex geometries
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing tolerances
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
