About the Fellowship
Unity Health Care is seeking a Post-Graduate Behavioral Health Fellow to join our integrated primary care behavioral health team. Under the supervision of the Fellowship Director, the Fellow will provide culturally competent behavioral health services to patients in an urban community health setting. This fellowship is designed to support early-career clinicians through structured training, supervision, and skill development.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical histories, psychosocial assessments, and diagnostic evaluations

Develop treatment plans and deliver brief behavioral health interventions

Provide crisis intervention, patient education, and psychoeducation

Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams

Maintain timely documentation in the medical record

Participate in fellowship trainings, supervision, workshops, and required projects
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program

Recent graduate (current year applying to fellowship)

Must hold DC Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) license

Two academic years or more of supervised direct service (internships/field placements/work experience considered)
