This contract role requires precision, patient-focused care, and comprehensive knowledge in radiation therapy protocols and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate patient identification and preparation.
• Operate Varian True Beam Linear Accelerator and perform CT simulation procedures effectively.
• Maintain communication with patients throughout treatment, addressing concerns and monitoring for side effects.
• Document treatment details accurately in Meditech and Aria systems.
• Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and enforce radiation safety measures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to handle scheduling, supplies, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all departmental policies and maintain complete patient records.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Current registration as Radiation Therapist (RTT) with ARRT(T).
• Certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety standards and patient care protocols.
• Proficient in using Varian Linear Accelerator and clinical software such as Meditech and Aria.
