What the job is like:
• Pay: $84.00/hr
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Monday–Friday with rotating start times between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Location: Palo Alto, CA – Inpatient Endoscopy Services
• Duration: 13 weeks (initially)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university (preferred)
Licenses and Certifications:
• Active California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers
Experience:
- Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience as a Registered Nurse
- 1 years of inpatient intra-op experience with ability to assist during therapeutic procedures such as ERCP
- Experience circulating and performing Endo tech procedures
- Able to assist in the “Tech” role of these advanced cases.
- Can perform Moderate Sedation
Preferred:
- Upper and Lower GI experience such as ESD,ERCP, EMR, Sigmoidoscopy, POEM, Colonoscopy, EUS - endoscopic Ultrasound and/or EGD.
Responsibilities
- Assists physicians during endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures with cardiac, vital sign and medication management.
- Preps incoming patients for surgery, including but not limited to, IV insertion, pre operative oral and IV medication management, attaining consent for surgery.
- Assists and monitors patients during after nerve blocks which required cardiac and vital sign monitoring, and oxygen administration.
- Assists patients recovering in PACU, administering pain medications, monitoring vital signs and prepping patients for discharge.
