. As Inside Sales Engineer / Project Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our customers to ensure their satisfaction and success. You will be responsible for responding to customer requests, selecting equipment, managing plan & specification quotes, delegating tasks to our application engineering team, and managing project tasks throughout the entire sales cycle.

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with outside sales engineers (OSEs), application engineering teams, and customer service reps (CSRs) to coordinate bids and project delivery.
  • Select and quote power, HVAC, and monitoring equipment per project requirements and specifications.
  • Review and finalize submittals; track approvals and ensure accurate order processing.
  • Manage project lifecycle: Bill of Material (BOM) validation, handoff meetings, issue resolution, and final documentation.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring follow-ups and accurate communication.
  • Maintain project records and updates in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle).

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Automation Engineering, HVAC Technology, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Electrical or mechanical systems knowledge preferred (2+ years ideal, but not required)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and curious mindset; eager to learn and grow within the industry.
  • A desire to educate others.

Bonus:

  • AutoCAD experience or technical drawing knowledge
  • Familiarity with plan & spec processes or A&E documents
  • Sales experience with Customer First mindset
