Job Description
A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The HHA works under the supervision of a nurse or care coordinator and follows an established care plan. 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting</li>
<li>Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning</li>
<li>Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed</li>
<li>Provide companionship and emotional support</li>
<li>Perform light housekeeping related to client care (laundry, dishes, tidying)</li>
<li>Remind clients to take medications (no administration unless certified)</li>
<li>Monitor and report changes in condition or behavior to the supervisor</li>
<li>Run errands and assist with transportation when required</li>
<li>Follow safety, infection control, and privacy guidelines </li>
</ul>
Skills and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>HHA certification or training (as required by state)</li>
<li>CPR/BLS certification (preferred)</li>
<li>Compassionate, patient, and reliable</li>
<li>Strong communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to follow a care plan and work independently</li>
<li>Physically able to assist with transfers and long periods of standing </li>
</ul>
