This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting practices and familiarity with various financial systems. You will play a vital part in supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Handle billing tasks, including preparing and issuing invoices.
• Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Conduct data entry with precision to maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for daily operations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards related to accounting.
• Provide assistance in audits and other financial assessments as needed.• Proven experience in account reconciliation, billing, and invoice processing.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in accounting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
• Prior experience in a contract position is a plus but not required.
