An opportunity for experienced ICU Registered Nurses is available in the Lees Summit, MO area. This contract position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced ICU environment providing critical care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The role involves 12-hour night shifts supporting patients with complex cardiac, neurological, and trauma needs.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Prior experience in a Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center highly preferred
• Skilled in care for cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) and neurological (Neuro) patients
• Certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) is a plus
• Current RN licensure, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced nursing care for critically ill patients in the ICU
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit as needed
• Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations according to the schedule
• Attend orientation sessions prior to start of assignment

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Every third weekend and holiday coverage required
