Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time contract position for a School Psychologist is based onsite in Dundalk, MD, supporting a school district with five schools. The role involves supplementing the existing school psychologist by providing testing, conducting IEP/SST meetings, and potentially offering counseling services. While the caseload is variable, the candidate will not be responsible for all five schools but will focus on specific assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing to support student evaluations
- Participate in and lead IEP (Individualized Education Program) and SST (Student Support Team) meetings
- Provide counseling services as needed to support student wellbeing
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to address student needs and develop effective intervention strategies
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland School Psychologist licensure is required
- Masters degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Experience in conducting assessments, facilitating meetings, and delivering counseling services in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload
