Job Title: Lead HVAC Installer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and driven Lead HVAC Installer to join our elite team. As a Lead Installer, you will oversee HVAC installations, ensure top-quality workmanship, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a commitment to upholding our elevated industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform installations of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and other equipment.
- Lead and mentor installation assistants, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Review job specifications and ensure all installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations, using resources and expertise to find effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
- Communicate with customers to explain installation processes, answer questions, and address concerns professionally.
- Represent the company with courtesy and professionalism, delivering the best customer experience.
- Ensure job sites are left clean and organized, reflecting the company's standard of care.
- Coordinate with the shop team to ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are prepared for each job.
- Report workplace discrepancies and collaborate with management to address and resolve issues effectively.
- Foster open communication and teamwork among crew members to maintain efficiency and morale.
- Actively pursue opportunities to expand technical knowledge and skills through training, certifications, and other resources.
- Serve as a role model for team members by demonstrating discipline, focus, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.
- Uphold and promote the company culture of providing the highest standard of service and effort in every task.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in residential HVAC installation.
- Experience installing furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, condensers, and mini-splits.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications.
- Comfortable working with an apprentice and helping to develop them.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- A2L certification.
- Experience in service, troubleshooting, mechanical repair, field service, sheet metal, air conditioning, and water heaters.

Work Environment
Work hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility available if needed. The work radius is 30 minutes from the Jenison office, covering the Lakeshore and Grand Rapids area. Typically, there are 1 to 2 projects per day, and no emergency on-call is required. You will work in a team of two, ensuring collaboration and support.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
