True Movement Tech develops innovative equipment for training and play specializing in the sports entertainment and training space. We've worked with almost every major brand across an array of sport entertainment markets (Disney, Cirque Du Soleil, SkyZone, etc). With thousands of installations across the nation, TMT creates wildly entertaining experiences and products that provide kids and athletes of all ages the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow.

As we continue to grow, we are looking to bring on an Director, Sales. The ideal candidate needs to have experience in both B2B & B2C sales strategy, maintain strong, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and be able to balance between day-to-day oversight and long-term strategy.

Job Summary

Responsible for leading and managing the sales function across multiple levels and organizations within the company. This role balances day-to-day oversight of sales operations with high-level strategic planning to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement. Will collaborate closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that support long-term company growth. Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to guide future sales initiatives. Contribute to organizational planning, forecasting, and resource allocation. - 30%
  • Oversee daily sales operations across multiple teams, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded. Monitor key performance metrics, reporting progress to executive leadership. Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies. - 30%
  • Lead, mentor, and develop sales managers and staff to ensure a high-performance culture. Establish clear performance expectations, training programs, and career development paths. Foster collaboration and communication between inside sales, outside sales, and support functions. - 20%
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level negotiations. Ensure a customer-centric approach to sales and service delivery. - 15%
  • Perform other duties, as assigned. - 5%

Minimum Requirements

Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or other related field

Experience - 7-10 years of sales experience (B2B & B2C); 3-5 years of effectively leading teams

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of how to utilize and leverage Google Suite
  • Knowledge of how to operate both strategically and balance day-to-day operations
  • Advanced knowledge of sales methodologies, pipelines, and revenue forecasting
  • Financial and business acumen, including P&L management and budgeting
  • High integrity, executive presence, and adaptability to changing market conditions
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales performance tools
  • Strong leadership and team development skills to drive performance across multiple levels
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends, and guide decision-making
  • Customer-centric mindset and ability to drive revenue growth
  • Ability to proactively anticipate needs and react efficiently, confidently, and independently when quick decisions are needed
  • Passion for learning new things, continuous improvement, and sharing best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Education - MBA or advanced degree

Experience - Background in sports equipment, recreation/entertainment, or facilities

Physical Demands

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., and travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
