We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting critical accounting processes. Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Maintain records and track inventory for 100+ pieces of equipment
- Record all equipment purchases and sales
- Process loan payments and manage loan documentation
- Coordinate new loan setup and close out paid loans
- Oversee insurance renewals
- Post depreciation entries
- Handle DMV paperwork and registration for company vehicles
- Prepare quarterly financial summaries
- Collaborate with external accountants for year-end reporting
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in equipment rental or construction
- Proficient in Sage accounting software
- Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
