We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting critical accounting processes. Responsibilities:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintain records and track inventory for 100+ pieces of equipment
  • Record all equipment purchases and sales
  • Process loan payments and manage loan documentation
  • Coordinate new loan setup and close out paid loans
  • Oversee insurance renewals
  • Post depreciation entries
  • Handle DMV paperwork and registration for company vehicles
  • Prepare quarterly financial summaries
  • Collaborate with external accountants for year-end reporting
  • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in equipment rental or construction
  • Proficient in Sage accounting software
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
