A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Med-Surg expertise in Derry, NH, providing patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role involves working on a 29-bed medical-surgical unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and telemetry systems powered by Meditech Expanse for documentation.
Responsibilities include delivering bedside care with attention to safety and conducting bedside care conferences to enhance patient experience. The role requires adherence to unit policies and professional dress standards, with scheduling set for every other weekend and potential floating within the hospital as needed.
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with Med-Surg experience
- Minimum one year of acute care experience, including dysrhythmia skills
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and Meditech Expanse documentation
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
