Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audiologist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests. You will identify and diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders, fit and dispense hearing aids using the latest technology, and provide patient education and counseling on hearing health. Additionally, you will maintain accurate and detailed patient records and collaborate with ENT physicians and other healthcare professionals. Staying current with audiology best practices and continuing education is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests.
- Identify and diagnose hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders.
- Fit and dispense hearing aids using the latest technology.
- Provide patient education and counseling on hearing health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with ENT physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay current with audiology best practices and continuing education.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in audiology with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.).
- Valid audiology license in Wisconsin.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or equivalent.
- Experience with EMR systems and audiometric equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong collaboration skills with ENT physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to educate and counsel patients on hearing health.
Work Environment
This role offers a flexible work environment at both Wauwatosa and Greenfield Clinics. You will work 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to manage and build your own schedule. The position includes four on-site clinic days per week and one administrative/work-from-home day per week, providing a balanced work-life dynamic.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
