Position Overview
As a Recovery Specialist, you play a critical role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for individuals on their recovery journey. You'll work directly with clients, offering guidance, supervision, and encouragement while ensuring program safety and integrity.

What You'll Do

Ensure a safe and structured program environment by monitoring client activities
Provide supervision and support to clients on the unit and during off-unit activities
Conduct 30-minute well-being checks to ensure client safety
Perform searches of client belongings at admission, discharge, or as directed
Complete shift documentation, checklists, and records accurately and on time
Maintain a professional, respectful, and therapeutic approach with clients
Collaborate with team members to support program goals and client care plans
Facilitate and document daily group sessions
Participate in trainings, supervision, and team meetings
Obtain and assess vital signs (BP, heart rate, respirations, temperature)
Support additional program needs as directed by leadership

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or Higher educational level or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience working with substance use population is preferred.
  • Ability to display initiative, responsibility, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrates commitment working with an addicted population, enjoys working as part of a treatment team.

HOURLY WAGE RANGE: $20-22
