ROLE OVERVIEW:&nbsp; Works with the surgical team to perform scrubbing duties and assist the registered nurse in circulating&nbsp; duties and other related procedures. Accountable for quality and reliability of patient care consistent&nbsp; with established nursing practice and assigned tasks and hospital policy and procedure. Works under&nbsp; supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, receives direction from physicians and professional nurses.&nbsp; PREREQUISITE EXPERIENCE:&nbsp; • High School Graduate&nbsp; • Completion of Surgical Technologist course and appropriate certification&nbsp; • Knowledge of technical requirements for most surgical procedures gained from a minimum of&nbsp; two years operating room experience&nbsp; • CPR certification or ability to obtain
