- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking of freight items received and dispatched.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels and inventory accuracy of customers cargo
- Organize the receiving of inbound freight shipments, ensuring that items are checked against shipping documents for accuracy.
- Coordinate the loading and unloading of freight, ensuring all packages are handled properly to avoid damage.
- Schedule and arrange transportation for outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Develop and maintain an efficient warehouse layout that optimizes space and facilitates the smooth flow of goods.
- Implement best practices for storage, categorization, and retrieval of freight items.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory transactions, and other relevant documentation.
- Prepare reports and assist in administrative duties related to shipping and receiving operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety training and drills.
- Identify hazards and implement safety measures to create a safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Inspect freight for quality and condition, addressing any discrepancies in quality or quantity as needed.
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, delays, or inventory issues, providing timely and accurate information.

Share information, provide updates, and actively listen to others to facilitate collaboration and prevent misunderstandings.Responsibility & AccountabilityAbility to accept responsibility and make decisionsEnsure that tasks are completed on time through efficient organization and planning and communicate any delays in advance.Required Qualifications1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or freight management.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and efficiently organize the warehouse.Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, customers, and other departments.Ability to identify issues and develop solutions quickly to minimize disruptions in operations.Basic math skills for inventory calculations, order processing, and reporting.Forklift CertificationDesired QualificationsKnowledge of workplace safety standards and certification in relevant safety procedures (e.g., OSHA regulations).Experience leading or supervising a team can be beneficial, especially for roles requiring personnel management.
