About The Job:
The Laboratory Technician I position at Innovative Labs is vital to the success of the lab as well as the overall success of manufacturing quality products at IL. The lab tech is directly supervised by the Laboratory Manager. The lab tech is to work under minimal supervision and function independently upon completion of training.
What You'll Do:
- Receipt of finished goods samples from production floor
 - Receipt of Raw Materials samples from QA sample technician
 - Calibration/documentation of all instruments involved in testing
 - Organization and distribution of samples for microbial, heavy metals, potency, and any other testing
 - Submission of all required outside lab testing to 3rd party laboratories
 - Physical testing of finished goods samples
 - Finished goods retention sample management
 - Pull samples from retain samples as needed
 - FTIR analysis of raw materials and finished goods
 - Physical testing of raw materials and finished goods
 - Cleaning verification titrations
 - Documentation of service performed
 - Laboratory cleaning and organization
 - Report and review results
 - Maintain records of all quality activities as documented in procedures and test methods
 - Maintain detailed laboratory notebook of all work performed
 - Handle samples and perform analyses according to established procedures and test methods
 - Sign off on others work when trained to do so
 - Maintain and calibrate assigned equipment
 - Report deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor or manager
 - Identify, record, and correct nonconformities
 - Identify and record improvements
 - Improves laboratory and/or quality activities on a continuous basis
 - Follow all laboratory safety protocols and use proper PPE
 - Other duties as assigned.

 - High School Diploma or GED
