Embark on a rewarding school-based contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in a vibrant educational community near Puyallup, WA. This full-time assignment runs from August 2026 through December 2026, supporting learners throughout the first semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.

You'll work alongside passionate educators and supportive teams, delivering vital speech and language services to students from various backgrounds. The caseload and grade levels will be finalized during your interview to best match your strengths and preferences.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Active Washington SLP License
  • Washington ESA Certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • School-based experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, individually or in groups
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as part of the student support team
  • Ensure accurate documentation and district/state compliance at all times
