Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the construction and manufacturing industries, with a strong ability to manage general ledger activities. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records while providing insights for business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial processes and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
