Job Description
The Material Handler will be responsible for accurate and timely receipt, storage, and posting of site inventory, shipping finished goods to distribution centers, and then on to customer locations. Accurate confirmation and reporting end of run material consumption resulting in accurate inventory levels facilitates production planning and execution. This directly impacts company financial statements.
Experience and duties:
- 3 years minimum directly related experience
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
- Good organization skills
- Good verbal and written communication at various functional levels
- Familiar with Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Forklift experience a must
- Shipping and Receiving
- Computer skills and typing skills
- Inventory Control Experience
- Participate in annual physical inventory
- Unload, verify, and document all inbound shipments including Sage; SAP as required
- End of runs Knowledge
Education
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Directly related manufacturing experience is a significant factor and preferred.
- Manufacturing ERP system, Oracle and/or SAP experience
