Job Title: Medical Office Clerk (Family Medicine)

Location: Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center, Nellis AFB, NV 89191

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 0730–1630

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED; medical terminology preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an office setting, preferably in a medical facilit
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA or ARC; computer-based BLS not accepted

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and assist with front-desk operations
• Schedule appointments, verify patient eligibility, and manage templates
• Maintain, retrieve, and file medical records in accordance with MTF standards
• Provide administrative support to clinical teams and maintain accurate documentation
• Answer and route calls, take messages, and interface with internal and external stakeholders
• Use military systems (e.g., MHS GENESIS, DEERS, PACS) for patient care coordination
