Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student caseload during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role supports students aged 5 to 22 and requires dedication to fostering educational progress throughout the summer months.
Location: Liverpool, NY
Duration: ESY (7/7 - 8/15)
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM
Employment Type: Full-time preferred; part-time considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct educational and developmental support to K-12 students within the ESY program
- Develop and implement individualized instruction plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor progress and communicate effectively with educators, families, and team members
- Participate in virtual meetings and collaborative planning via Zoom
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with students aged 5-22, covering a wide K-12 range
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
- Strong communication skills and comfort with virtual interviews and meetings
- Commitment to consistent attendance and professionalism throughout the ESY dates
