You start your shift reviewing the production schedule and work orders, then study blueprints and technical drawings to plan each setup. You choose tooling and fixtures, load and align them, and bring Mori Seiki, Doosan, and Haas equipment with Fanuc controls online. After dialing in tool length and work offsets, you run careful test cuts, verify dimensions with precision measuring tools, and tweak as needed to lock in tight tolerances. Throughout the run, you keep machines performing at their best, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and perform routine maintenance so every part meets spec.
What you will handle
- Set up and operate CNC machines to meet specifications and production schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations.
- Produce high-quality precision parts with consistent results.
- Hold and verify tight tolerance control on every operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring tools to confirm adherence to specifications.
- Operate Mori Seiki, Doosan, and Haas machines equipped with Fanuc controls.
What you bring
- Proven experience as a CNC Set Up Operator or comparable role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and programming concepts.
- High proficiency reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Deep familiarity with tight-tolerance machining practices.
