Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Valid DOE certification (Early Childhood Special Ed: ages birth–8, or as specified above)
- Experience or strong interest in early childhood special education (preschool age group preferred)
- Ability to interpret and apply results from standardized and general education assessments for literacy and math
- Successful background screening post-offer
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to preschool students with disabilities, using both in-class and pull-out methods
- Manage a maximum caseload of 15 students
- Assess students for eligibility and instructional needs
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—with Fridays dedicated to planning and team meetings
- Engage families and caregivers in the educational process
