Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Utilize project management software such as Sage 300 and Procore to track project progress and budget.
  • Prepare and analyze project schedules and budgets, identifying potential risks and solutions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management or engineering.
  • Proficiency in project management software, particularly Sage 300 and Procore.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Experience with MS Office, Bluebeam, and Timberline software.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
