We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing excellent support to employees regarding payroll and timekeeping matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a high level of confidentiality, and proven experience in payroll administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll for all employees with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes.

  • Verify timekeeping data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and deductions.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, benefits, and timekeeping.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance to support audits, reconciliations, and reporting needs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience required.

  • Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, Paychex, Workday, or similar).

  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and labor laws.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.



Pay Details: $59,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year
