Salary: $31.50 - $36.00 per hour
Maintenance Electrician
$31.50 - $36.00 per hour, DOE
10:00 pm - 6:00 pm / Sunday-Thursday
(Open to Training as needed)
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to join a manufacturing and packing operations. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of machinery, building systems, and support equipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, solving electrical issues, and contributing to our safety and continuous improvement efforts. Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility electrical systems
- Perform skilled electrical tasks including conduit sizing and installation
- Use electronic instruments to test, evaluate, and maintain equipment
- Specify and request materials required for projects
- Complete accurate records for TPMs, preventative maintenance, and work orders
- Adhere to all facility safety practices and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
- Participate in Continuous Improvement events and required meetings
- Work closely with contractors and internal teams
- Conduct parts inventory and cycle counts
- Carry out environmental compliance tasks as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Maintenance Electrician Requirements:
- Certification in General Industrial Electricity and Motor Controls
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical work
- Familiar with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Strong understanding of ladder logic and PLC systems
- Comfortable reading electrical diagrams and troubleshooting equipment
- Familiar with using tools and electrical testing equipment
- Able to lift 35 lbs and work in a production environment using required PPE
- Willing to work different shifts and overtime when needed
